The President of Slovakia granted permission to four citizens of the country to fight against Russia on the side of Ukraine

Citizens of Slovakia are not allowed to serve in a foreign army, but permission can be granted on an individual basis upon request. The necessary administrative actions may take several weeks or months.

Six other applicants were refused permission.
