191 Azerbaijani Armed Forces servicemen killed in the battle for Nagorno-Karabakh

Azerbaijan has officially announced its losses in the fighting for Nagorno-Karabakh. 191 members of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were killed.

The Ministry of Health reported this.

One civilian was also killed, the ministry said.

Another 510 soldiers and one civilian were injured.

The identities of 11 more people are to be established by forensic medical examination after genetic testing.

Armenia does not disclose its losses.

It will be recalled that on September 19, Azerbaijan announced "local anti-terrorist measures" in Nagorno-Karabakh. On September 20, the President of Azerbaijan said that the country had achieved all the goals of the operation in Nagorno-Karabakh and had restored its sovereignty. On September 21, representatives of Azerbaijan and the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh discussed the reintegration of the region's population.
