The police have opened more than 20 criminal proceedings regarding sexual assault cases by Russian soldiers in Ukraine

There can be several victims and several criminals in one case, so the number of proceedings does not accurately reflect the number of crimes.

In total, the National Police has documented about 20,000 criminal proceedings regarding war crimes committed by Russians.
