Ambassador of Ukraine in Turkey, Bodnar: Ukraine, Turkey and Russia are holding talks on unblocking Ukrainian ports

Turkey communicates with both Ukraine and Russia. There are also online negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

The Ukrainian side demands the creation of a mechanism for monitoring the movement of ships in the Black Sea. It is not only about the export of grain, but also the delivery of goods to Ukraine. An ideal scenario for Ukraine would be the creation of convoys that would protect merchant vessels.

Earlier, the ambassador reported on the detention by Turkish customs of a Russian cargo ship that was transporting stolen Ukrainian grain.

This ship belongs to a Kazakh company, from which a Russian company rents it. If it turns out that he was transporting stolen grain, the Kazakh company will terminate the contract. Turkish law enforcement authorities continue to investigate the case.
