The government will prepare draft laws on the introduction of a comprehensive exam for acquiring Ukrainian citizenship

The Ministry of Education, together with the National Commission for State Language Standards, were tasked with developing and approving exam programs for the level of mastery of the state language, as well as for the history of Ukraine and the basics of the Constitution.

It should be reminded, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy appealed to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal with a request to develop such laws after the petition with the proposal to introduce exams gained 25 thousand signatures.
