12 people killed, including five children, in a Russian attack on Odesa on the night of March 2
Odesa, Ukraine (Svidomi) — Search and rescue operations in Odesa, in the south of Ukraine, have been completed following a Russian UAV attack on the night of March 2, according to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
"The Russian drone hit a multi-storey building, killing 12 people, five of them children: 4-month-old Tymofii, 7-month-old Liza, 3-year-old Mark, 8-year-old Zlata, and Serhii, who was to turn 10 in July," said Oleh Kiper.
More than two hundred people were involved in the search and rescue operations. Among them were rescuers, police, and volunteers.
"Every Russian loss at the front is our country's response to Russian terror. The world must respond to every manifestation of Russian evil and repel Russia's actions. Every Russian terrorist act ignored by the world allows Russia to continue killing," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented.
It will be recalled that on the night of March 2, Russia attacked Ukrainian regions with drones and missiles. One of the drones hit a multi-storey building in Odesa, which is in the south of Ukraine.
