12 out of 16 German federal states plan to suspend the reception of refugees from Ukraine

According to the German Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 980,000 Ukrainians have entered the country since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

The decision to stop accepting refugees is explained by the fact that soon some federal states will not be able to accommodate them.

However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs assured that it is still possible to accept refugees and the government is studying further measures to support them.
