11 wounded in Kherson region, including a child

On the night of September 12, Russia launched five missiles of various types and Shahed-type combat UAVs at Ukraine. The Air Defense Forces reported downing missiles and 44 UAVs in the Kyiv, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, and Poltava regions.

In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russians shelled Kherson, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Kizomys, Sadove, Veletenske, Bilozerka, Tokarivka, Mykhailivka, Olhivka, Novovorontsovka, Lvove, Odradokamianka, Mykolaivka, Burhunka, Trudoliubivka, Dovhe, Nova Kuban, Zarichne, Osokorivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Olhyne, Kozatske. Eleven civilians sustained injuries, including one child.

A sustainability centre, 11 private houses, and private cars were damaged. 

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, south-central Ukraine, the Russians targeted the Nikopol and Kamianske districts, the Myrove, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities. Four civilians sustained injuries and one died. Eleven houses, eight utility buildings, a gymnasium, a car, power lines and gas pipelines were damaged. An enterprise and a fire truck caught fire.

In the Donetsk region, located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine and partially occupied since 2014, the Russian army shelled Hirnyk, Dobropillia, Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Mykolaivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Yelizavetivka, Zoriane, Kostiantynopil, and Shchurove. Thirteen civilians sustained injuries and six died. Forty-eight residential buildings, several administrative buildings, a hospital, a market, a cafe, an educational institution, a stadium, a vegetable storage facility, shops, a shopping pavilion, a recreation centre, lock-ups, cars, and critical infrastructure sustained damage. 

In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, Russia shelled Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Olhivske, Pryiutne, Preobrazhenka, Bilohiria, and Orikhove. Over the day, the Russians launched 337 attacks. They damaged 13 residential buildings and infrastructure. The regional military administration reports no casualties.

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russian army struck Nevske and Makiivka with drones and artillery systems.

In the Mykolaiv region in the south of Ukraine, the Russians attacked the Kutsurub community with FPV drones. The regional military administration reported no casualties.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Sumy, Richky, Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Konotop, Znob- Novhorod, Esman, Myropillia, Khotin, Velyka Pysarivka, Yunakivka, Seredyna-Buda, Druzhba, Berezivka, and Lebedyn communities came under Russian shelling. Twenty-nine civilians got injured. Seven apartment buildings, one residential building, a hospital, an educational institution, cars, lock-ups, and a shop sustained damage

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians shelled Borova, Zolochiv, Berezivka, Kalynove, and Kupiansk. The attacks caused fire to structural units, and damaged a private house, outbuildings, and gas networks.  A two-story residential building and a shop were destroyed.

In the Khmelnytskyi region, west of Ukraine, a fire broke out in one of the furniture storage warehouses due to the downing of drones. During the night attack, a Russian Shahed combat UAV was spotted flying in close proximity to the Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russian army attacked Nizhyn, Polissia, and Hai with two ballistic missiles and a guided missile.
