Ukraine will impose sanctions on Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church

Sanctions, which will be introduced for 10 years, provide for:

▪️ blocking assets;

▪️ stopping the transit of resources, flights, and transportation through Ukraine;

▪️ suspension of economic and financial obligations;

▪️ ban on participation in privatization and lease of state property;

▪️cessation of cultural exchanges and cooperation;

▪️ cancellation of official visits.

The National Security and Defense Council and the President of Ukraine have yet to consider the sanctions list. After their approval, the government will submit the list to international partners with a request to introduce appropriate sanctions in other countries.
