The Russians staff their infantry units with specialists from other professions

The units of the strategic missile forces of the Russian Federation are recruiting personnel who will voluntarily express their desire to participate in the war against Ukraine.

As of August 22, only 1% of military personnel from the total number of required personnel expressed such a desire.

Unit commanders complain that the misuse of their troops leads to a loss of capabilities and heavy casualties among personnel.
