Zelenskyу: No matter who uses terror, it is a crime against humanity

The President of Ukraine expressed support for the citizens of Israel after Hamas rocket attacks on the country.

"The world must stand up in solidarity so that terror never tries to conquer or break lives anywhere. Israel's right to defend itself is beyond doubt," the President of Ukraine said.

He emphasised that "nowhere in the world should terror be given a single chance, because terror is always a crime not just against one country or its specific victims, but against humanity and our entire world."

The President also called on Ukrainian citizens in the danger zone to follow the instructions of the security forces on the ground and closely monitor the information.

"Please take care of yourself! The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and our embassy in Israel are ready to help in any situation. An operational headquarters has been set up to help Ukrainians in Israel," Zelenskyу wrote.

It will be recalled that on the morning of October 7, militants in the Gaza Strip fired rockets at Israel.

The Israeli Defence Minister declared a state of emergency in certain parts of the country in response to the massive rocket attack.
