- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Pekka Haavisto, wrote that shelling the civilian population is a war crime.
- European Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders, was in a shelter in Kyiv during the explosions. The politician canceled all subsequent meetings as part of his visit.
- During a conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart, the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, discussed a possible response to Russia's massive shelling of Ukraine within the framework of the UN General Assembly.
