Two people killed and three wounded in 24 hours due to Russian shelling of Ukrainian regions

The Ukrainian Air Force destroyed nine of the 12 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Air defences were deployed in the Kherson, Odesa, Dnipro and Poltava regions. In the Donetsk region, the Russian army deployed S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles. 

The Russians shelled about 20 settlements with artillery, mortars and aircraft in the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia to the east. In Pokotylivka, a 28-year-old man was injured by the detonation of explosive devices. An 87-year-old man was injured in Kupiansk. Residential buildings and outbuildings were damaged.

Shelling in the frontline Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014, resulted in one death in Maksymilianivka. The Russian army shelled the Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts. Residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged. 

Russian troops launched 442 attacks on nine settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Levadne, Huliaipole, Malynivka and other towns were hit by aircraft, UAVs, MLRS and artillery. Residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Ukrainian air defence downed four drones - two in the Dniprovskyi district, one in the Kamianskyi and one in the Kryvyi Rih districts. The wreckage fell on the territory of an elevator. A fire broke out. There were no casualties. The Nikopol district, which borders the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region across the Dnipro, came under Russian artillery fire. An infrastructure facility was damaged.

Russians shelled Bilozerka, Veletenske, Kizomys, Sadove, Beryslav, Tiahynka, Kherson and other frontline settlements in the Kherson region, partially occupied since 2022. Residential buildings got damaged. One person was killed and another injured.

In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, the Russian army fired artillery and mortars at the Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities. There were no casualties.

Russian troops attacked the Poltava region with UAVs. An infrastructure facility in Poltava district got hit. There were no casualties.

Russians shelled the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka communities on the border of the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia in the north. The Ukrainian military reported 32 explosions from mortars and cannon artillery.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, Ukrainian border guards recorded 124 explosions. 10 border communities came under fire from UAVs, artillery, mortars and guided aerial bombs. No casualties were reported.
