Two people died in the last 24 hours due to Russian shelling. Another 13 received injuries

On the morning of June 7, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with five X-101/X-555 cruise missiles and launched 53 Shahed-131/136 attack drones. The Air Force downed all the missiles and 48 drones. Air defences operated in the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Odesa, Kharkiv, Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi regions.

In the Kyiv region, centre and north of Ukraine, the Russian attack caused a fire at an industrial facility. No one was injured. 

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east, the Russians targeted Lyzohubivtsi, Chuhuiv, Malynivka, Bilyi Kolodiaz, Tomakhivka and Nova Hlynytsia. Civil infrastructure, private houses and multi-storey buildings were damaged. One person sustained injuries. 

In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east, the Russians fired 1,647 times at Hirnyk, Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Velyka Novosilka, Zhelanne, Novoekonomichne, Zelene Pole and Torske. Twenty-one civilian objects came under fire. One person was killed and four others were injured. 

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians fired 27 times at border communities over the past day. The Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Esman, Velyka Pysarivka, Khotin and Shalyhyne communities came under attack. There were no casualties. 

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, Semenivka and Snovsk communities came under attack. The Border Guard recorded 16 explosions. 

In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, which has been partially occupied since 2022, 

the Russians shelled Novotiahynka, Antonivka, Sadove, Kizomys, Pryozerne, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Stanislav, Beryslav, Tiahynka, Havrylivka, Taras Shevchenko, Mykhailivka, Mylove and Kherson. Three multi-storey buildings and 14 private houses were damaged. A shopping hypermarket and a garage were hit, and cars were destroyed. Four people got injured. 

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, southcentral Ukraine, on June 6, Russians shelled the Myrove community and Nikopol, next to the temporarily occupied Enerhodar, where Zaporizhzhia NPP is located. Two people were injured. Eight private houses, outbuildings, 26 solar panels and power lines were damaged. The wreckage of a Russian UAV shot down in the Novomoskovsk district damaged a private home. On the night of June 7, the Russians targeted Nikopol again. Two women were wounded. Private houses, outbuildings, cars, and power lines were damaged. As a result of the shelling of Nikopol on the afternoon of June 7, a 71-year-old woman was killed.

In the Zaporizhzhia region in the south, which has been partially occupied since 2022, Russians shelled localities 434 times. Piatykhatky, Novodarivka, Chervonodniprovka, Huliaipole, Levadne, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka and Novoandriivka came under attack. There were eight reports of residential damage.
