The US imposes sanctions on two Russian companies — Aviatech and Aviazapchast

The U.S. Department of Commerce's announcement, published in the Federal Register, states that 11 more entities have been added to the list of companies with export restrictions. In particular, these are companies from Myanmar, China, Nicaragua, and Russia.

"These eleven organisations have been determined by the U.S. government to be acting contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States," the statement said.

The list includes Miya Win, Myanmar New Era Trading Company, Suntac Group, and more.
