The Serbian president spoke on social media about the 'difficult days' for the country and its people

Belgrade, Serbia ( Svidomi ) — Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has spoken of allegedly "difficult days" for Serbia and its citizens, without specifying what he meant.

"At this moment, it is not easy to say what news we have received in the last 48 hours," Vučić wrote without explanation.

The Serbian leader says the obtained data threatens "vital national interests of both Serbia and Republika Srpska".

"In the coming days, I will inform the people of Serbia about all the challenges we face. It will be difficult. We will fight. Serbia will win," Vučić added.

Over the weekend, members of the Serbian security police with machine guns patrolled the streets of the capital to keep an eye on sports facilities and shopping centres in the capital. Vučić's opposition criticised the move and claimed that the measure was intended to intimidate the population.

At the same time, against the backdrop of events in Russia, where more than 130 people were killed in a terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall, security measures are being tightened in France, Germany and Italy due to the terrorist threat.

It will be recalled that ISIS has admitted its involvement in the terrorist attack on a concert hall in the Russian suburbs of Moscow. The United States shares the same version. However, the FSS and Russian President Putin reject this version and try to blame Ukraine for the events.
