The Russian army has carried out its largest drone attack on Kyiv. Air defence systems shot down 74 out of 75 Shahed-131/136 drones

In Kyiv, UAV debris fell in the Solomianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Holosiivskyi and Pecherskyi districts. In the Solomianskyi district, a five-storey building was damaged, with broken windows. A fire broke out in a kindergarten and a non-residential building.

Five people were injured in the attack on Kyiv, including an 11-year-old child.

A fire broke out at an enterprise in one of the districts of Kyiv region as a result of a drone falling. The fire was extinguished. Three private houses and one multi-storey building were damaged.

Air defences were operating in at least six regions of Ukraine: Kyiv, Sumy, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad. Air Force units also shot down an X-59 cruise missile.

Russians also attacked a number of regions over the past day.

Donetsk region: Russians attacked Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maksymilianivka, Novodonetsk, Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, Siversk and others. One person was injured. Civilian infrastructure was destroyed.

Kharkiv region: the Russian army attacked Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, Synkivka, Kucherivka, Pershotravneve, Ivanivka, Kyslivka and Krokhmalne. There were no casualties.

Sumy region: Russian troops fired six times at the border areas and localities. 22 explosions were recorded.

Mykolaiv region: Russians fired artillery at the waters of Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. There were no casualties.

Kherson region: the Russian army made 100 attacks. Residential areas and libraries were hit in Kherson and the Beryslav district. One person was killed and three others were wounded.

Dnipropetrovsk region: Russians attacked the Marhanets community with artillery. There were no casualties.

Zaporizhzhia region: the Russian army struck 118 times in 22 towns and villages in the region. There are 11 reports of destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure. There are no casualties.
