The Israeli Minister of Defense and the former Prime Minister spoke against the provision of military aid to Ukraine
Minister Benny Gantz emphasized on the Kol Chai radio station that Israel does not sell weapons to Ukraine, but the state will continue to provide humanitarian aid.
On October 18, Ukraine's ambassador to Israel, Yevhen Korniichuk, informed the Maariv newspaper that the Israeli Minister of Defense had canceled the call with his Ukrainian counterpart, Oleksii Reznikov, without any explanation.
Ex-Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed concern about arms sales to Ukraine.
"On the question of weapons, there’s always a possibility — and this has happened time and again — that weapons we supplied in one battlefield end up in Iranian hands used against us," the opposition leader said.
