Switzerland suspends consultations on arms re-export issue

In Switzerland, the parliamentary Security Policy Committee decided to suspend consultations on arms re-export for a year

Swissinfo reported this.

The committee believes it is necessary to consult with experts to change the rules for arms re-export. These discussions should take place in May 2024.

They plan to consider the compliance of changes to the re-export rules with the Swiss legal system, neutrality laws and neutrality policy, as well as international law.
