Mariano García Calatayud disappeared in Kherson after the start of the full-scale war. Now he is in Simferopol with several dozen other citizens of Ukraine who were kidnapped by the Russians in the south.

Calatayud, also known as Mario, a citizen of Spain, lived in Ukraine for eight years and was engaged in volunteering. After the abduction, the volunteer could not be contacted, and his fate was unknown
