SBU eliminates former MP of pro-Russian OPFL party Illia Kyva — Suspilne

The Security Service of Ukraine has eliminated Illia Kyva, a member of the pro-Russian Opposition Platform — For Life (OPFL — ed.) party.

This was reported to Suspilne by sources in the Security Service of Ukraine.

"The elimination of the top traitor, collaborator and propagandist Illia Kyva is a special operation of the SBU. The criminal was killed with small arms," the sources said.

The Russian news outlet RIA Novosti also reported Kyva's death, citing emergency reports. His body was allegedly found in the Moscow region.

It will be recalled that Illia Kyva fled to Russia at the beginning of the full-scale invasion and supported the war against Ukraine. In November 2023, the Lychakiv Court of Lviv sentenced Kyva to 14 years in absentia for high treason.
