Russians unsuccessfully tried to break through the defence in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

The Russian army maintains a significant military presence in the border areas to prevent Ukrainian units from being redeployed to other areas.

Russians continue to try to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The Ukrainian military repelled 92 attacks in these areas.

Over the past day, Russian troops carried out 12 airstrikes and 5 missile attacks and fired 56 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian Defence Forces aviation carried out 6 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment over the day, while missile and artillery units hit 4 areas of concentration of personnel, an ammunition depot, and 2 deployment sites of radio-electronic warfare stations of the Russian army.
