Russians force Ukrainians to obtain Russian passports by September 1 in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in addition to obtaining a passport, the Russian occupation administration has introduced a mandatory written refusal to give up the Ukrainian one. Also, local energy companies report that it is mandatory to re-sign new electricity supply contracts only if you have a Russian passport.

All Ukrainian citizens who refuse to obtain Russian documents are threatened with termination of electricity supply, deportation, confiscation of property, and forced eviction from their houses.
