Russians deliberately blew up water pipeline to Mykolaiv and won't let repair crews in — BBC investigation
Satellite images and data show that the pipeline to the city was deliberately destroyed. Investigative journalists have found that the pipe was damaged at the point where it came to the surface.
Investigators report that the pipeline leaked for about eight hours after it was blown up on April 12, losing an estimated 40 million litres of water before it was shut off.
In other satellite images, journalists also spotted Russian tanks near the site of the water pipeline damage. Vitalii Kim, the head of Mykolaiv RMA, said the pipe could not be repaired because there was an "active military position" nearby.
