Russians attack Kryvyi Rih and the Poltava region, two people dead

On the night of August 28, Russian troops fired four Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles and two Kh-59 guided missiles. Air defence units destroyed two missiles of each type.

The Ukrainian Air Force Command reported this.

A missile hit an industrial facility in the Poltava region. Two people were killed, and five were wounded.  

The head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak, said the explosion set fire to an oil mill in the Myrhorod district.

Search efforts and debris removal are underway. 

Two country houses were destroyed in Kryvyi Rih, and five more were damaged. 

The head of Kryvyi Rih's Civil-Military Administration, Oleksandr Vilkul, said that a fire broke out in an outbuilding. According to preliminary information, no one was injured.
