Russian troops shelled 12 regions of Ukraine over the past 24 hours

At night, the Russians attempted to attack Ukraine with 18 Shahed-131/136 strike UAVs and one Iskander-M ballistic missile.

Air defence forces destroyed all 18 drones in the Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Khmelnytskyi regions.

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, Russian troops continue assaults at the Kupiansk and Kharkiv directions. More than 30 settlements in the region have been hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire. One person was killed in the village of Korotych and four others were wounded.

At about 6:30 a.m., Russians struck at the Kyiv district of Kharkiv. Three garages were destroyed and three were damaged. Four people sustained injuries.

Russian troops fired 11 times at settlements in the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine. Residential buildings in Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts were damaged. There were no reports of casualties over the day.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, which has been partially occupied in the south since 2022, the Russian army shelled seven settlements, firing 462 times. The local administration received five reports of residential damage. No civilians were injured.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, southcentral Ukraine, one of the most important industrial regions of the country, Russians opened fire on Nikopol with artillery, killing a man and injuring another. 

In the Kherson region, partially occupied since 2022, one person was killed and two others were injured as a result of the Russian aggression. The Russian military shelled residential areas of the region's settlements, a critical infrastructure facility, an administrative building, an educational institution and port infrastructure.

In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, the Voznesenskyi district, the Ochakiv and Kutsurb communities of the Mykolaiv district underwent shelling. There were no casualties or damage.

In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, Russians targeted five settlements. In Snovsk, three civilians received injuries and 30 buildings were damaged as a result of the shelling.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia in the north of Ukraine, at night and in the morning, Russians conducted 13 attacks on border areas and settlements with 78 explosions recorded. The Khotyn, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, Esman, Seredyna Buda and Znob-Novgorod communities were shelled. There are no reports of casualties or damage.
