~Russia illegally detains 25,000 Kremlin prisoners
According to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, this is the number of civilians abducted by the Russian Federation.
During the full-scale invasion, the National Police began investigating the enforced disappearance of 8,800 people. Russian Children's Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova claims Russia has illegally abducted over 700,000 children from Ukraine.
The Media Initiative for Human Rights has identified about a hundred places where abducted civilians are held.
The Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Qırım confirms 182 illegally imprisoned Ukrainian citizens, 60% of whom are Qırımtatarlar.
During the full-scale war, 2,576 Ukrainian citizens were returned to Ukraine, including 144 civilians.
Russians refuse to examine illegally imprisoned Volodymyr Dudka
This was reported by the Kremlin prisoner's son, Illia, in a comment to ZMINA.
Volodymyr suffers from stomach ulcers, hypertension, skin rash, prostate adenoma and urolithiasis.
"I hand him over medicines, but this can rather be called self-medication because the colony did not examine him on this issue," said Dudka's son.
Volodymyr Dudka used to serve in the Ukrainian Navy. The Russians detained the man in the temporarily occupied Aqyar (Sevastopol) in 2016 and accused him of allegedly "preparing sabotage" in Qirim.
The Kremlin prisoner, sentenced to 14 years, is currently in a penal colony in Stavropol, Russia.
The wife of Ruslan Asanov, detained in Bağçasaray, was denied a meeting with her husband
Zera Mustafaieva reported this to the Crimean Solidarity.
The prisoner is now in Detention Centre No. 2 in the temporarily occupied Aqmescit (Simferopol). Mustafaieva was not explained why they had denied her a meeting with her husband.
The wife wanted to give Asanov medicine for treating progressing gumboil (tooth inflammation - ed.).
"I brought antibiotics and painkillers. But of all the medicines, they took only Nimesil. The medical worker said they had everything in their pharmacy," Mustafaieva said.
Ruslan Asanov was detained after the FSS searched the homes of six Qirimtatarlar on August 24, 2023. At that time, Seidamet Mustafaiev, Eldar Yakubov, Abdulmejit Seitumierov, Ametkhan Umierov and Remzi Nimetulaiev were also arrested.
Russian security forces repeatedly detained these activists at rallies in support of other illegally convicted Qırımtatarlar.
On August 24, the so-called 'court' left the activists in custody until the end of October 2023.
Russians transferred prisoner Azamat Eiupov to Verkhnouralsk prison in Chelyabinsk region
His wife, Gulnara Eiupova, reported this.
The prisoner said that due to his illness, his right leg "still did not work properly".
Ruslan Suleimanov, who shared a cell with Eiupov, first saw signs of the disease a year ago.
In July 2022, after an examination in a private hospital, the political prisoner was diagnosed with four ischaemic strokes, which he had suffered in a detention centre.
On February 17, 2021, Azamat Eiupov was detained in Qarasuvbazar (Bilohirsk) in the temporarily occupied Qirim after massive searches of Qirimtatarlar. At that time, seven people were detained across the peninsula.
Despite his health condition, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced Eiupov to 17 years in prison for his involvement in the Hizb ut-Tahrir organisation.
The organisation is recognised as a 'terrorist' in Russia. The legislation of Ukraine and other countries does not prohibit this political organisation.
Russian court leaves Leniie Umerova in jail until October 4
This was reported by the Telegram channel 'Sota Vision'.
The appeal hearing was held behind closed doors. Umerova refused to participate in it.
According to her lawyer, Olha Dinze, the girl's relatives have not yet received permission to visit Umerova in the detention centre.
The political prisoner was detained on the Russian-Georgian border when trying to get to the temporarily occupied Qirim to visit her father, who has cancer.
The girl is accused of alleged espionage and is currently held in Moscow.
It will be recalled that the Russians ordered a forensic psychiatric examination for the abducted Ukrainian citizen, Leniie Umerova.
Russians sentenced Ukrainian prisoners of war in temporarily occupied Donetsk and Luhansk
The so-called "Supreme Courts" of the temporarily occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions have sentenced Ukrainian prisoners of war to 16, 17 and 26 years in prison.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported the case.
These are Sakhil Alakhverdiiev, Kostiantyn Sychak, Oleksandr Slobodianiuk and Oleksii Borysenko.
Alakhverdiiev disappeared on June 1, 2022, in the Luhansk region. Kostiantyn Sychak went missing on May 18, 2022, in Mariupol. Later, in July of the same year, Oleksandr Slobodianiuk also disappeared in Mariupol. Oleksii Borysenko disappeared in Nyzhnie, Luhansk region, on May 8, 2022.
It will be recalled that the 'Supreme Court' of the temporarily occupied Donetsk region sentenced prisoners of war Vitalii Prokopchuk and Maksym Ovcharenko to over 20 years in prison.
