Russia drops 13 bombs on Zaporizhzhia: 13 injured

On the night of September 29, Russia launched 22 Shahed combat drones against Ukraine. The Air Force Command reported the downing of 15 drones in the Sumy, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions. Another five UAV drones lost radar contact.

The Russians launched 345 attacks on the settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022: Zaporizhzhia, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Novodarivka, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka and Levadne. There were 19 reports of residential buildings and infrastructure being destroyed. A multi-storey building and private houses were damaged in the morning shelling of Zaporizhzhia. As of 11 a.m., 13 people were reported wounded.

In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, the Russians fired 74 times at the Sumy, Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, Hlukhiv, Shalyhyne, Esman and Seredyna-Buda communities. The shelling of a medical facility in Sumy on September 27 killed ten civilians and injured 22 others.

In the Donetsk region, partially occupied since 2014 and located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine, the Russian army shelled Dobropillia, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, Siversk, Sloviansk, Vodianske, Kostiantynopolske, Markove, Oleksandr-Kalynove, Oleksandropil, Osykovo, Petrivka, Sviatohorivka, Sontsivka and Yasenove. Three people were killed and 14 others were injured. Twenty-eight residential buildings, enterprises, administrative buildings, educational institutions, a shop, a hotel, a lock-up, a farm, a workshop, critical infrastructure, vehicles, a gas pipeline and power lines were damaged.

In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russian army shelled Kherson, Antonivka, Beryslav, Veletenske, Havrylivka, Dudchany, Prydniprovske, Shyroka Balka, Novodmytrivka, Stanislav, Romashkove, Tryfonivka, Kizomys, Yasna Poliana, Odradokamianka, Sadove, Shliakhove, Mykhailivka, Novovorontsovka, Tomaryne, Nova Kamianka and Sablukivka. Four civilians were killed and ten others were wounded. The shelling damaged a cultural institution, residential areas, a multi-storey building, 30 private houses, an outbuilding, a bus and private cars.

In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, the Russians attacked Slatyne, Kivsharivka, Kozacha Lopan and Podoly. The shelling killed four civilians and wounded ten others. A modular building, apartment block, private house, outbuildings, educational institution and car were damaged. Three fires broke out in the open due to the shelling.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, south-central Ukraine, the Russians attacked the Nikopol and Marhanets communities. The police are investigating the consequences of the attacks. There were no casualties.

In addition, search and rescue operations have been completed in Kryvyi Rih after the shelling on September 27. Rescuers found the body of another man. The death toll from the shelling has risen to four, with six people injured.

In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, the Russians attacked the Kutsurub and Shevchenkove communities. Two people were wounded in the shelling. A residential building and an educational institution were damaged.

In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians attacked Hrekivka, Balka Zhuravka, Bilohorivka and Makiivka with multiple launch rocket systems and 38 drones. The regional military administration reports no casualties.
