Russia damaged the Botanical Garden in Odesa in a missile strike on March 25
Odesa, Ukraine (Svidomi) — A rocket attack on the recreational area on the evening of March 25 damaged the administrative building, greenhouses and laboratory of the botanical garden.
The director of the botanical garden, Liudmyla Levchuk, reports that the collection plants аre also badly affected.
"There are no losses that we cannot restore, no such large-scale losses. However, the problem is that these plants will have no place to live because the greenhouses have been destroyed," she told Suspilne.
The garden is currently undergoing restoration work, removing debris and glass. The management is assessing the damage to the garden.
The Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces reported that on the evening of March 25, Russians launched a missile attack on a recreational area of Odesa. Two buildings were destroyed, and windows were smashed in houses in the affected area. Four people were injured.
