Nordic countries to join G7 Declaration on Security Assurances for Ukraine
Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden will join the G7 Declaration on Security Assurances for Ukraine.
This is stated in a joint statement.
"We commit ourselves to continue our support for Ukraine for as long as necessary," the statement reads.
Together with partners, they will provide modern military equipment to Ukraine and conduct training for the Ukrainian military.
"We will do so in order to contribute to Ukraine's long-term security, deter future Russian aggression, strengthen Ukraine's economic stability, and provide technical and financial support to meet Ukraine's urgent needs," the leaders added.
