Kyiv and Berlin become twin cities

On September 14, Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko and Berlin Mayor Kai Wegner signed a partnership agreement between the two cities.
This was announced by Vitalii Klychko.
"Berlin is a city of freedom. And today, Mayor Kai Wegner has symbolically demonstrated that Kyiv and Ukraine will always be free and part of the European family," said the mayor of Kyiv.
Vitalii Klychko and Kai Wagner discussed further donations of city buses and municipal equipment by Berlin.
Berlin will also assist in opening a municipal prosthetics centre for the military in Kyiv, Klychko wrote.
