Journalist and CEO of the Institute of Mass Information Oksana Romaniuk refuses to receive the German prize at the same time as the Russian
Together with her, the Johann-Philipp-Palm-Award for Freedom of Speech and the Press was to be awarded to Russian Alexei Venediktov, the founder of the Ekho Moskvy radio.
"I cannot imagine how I could physically stand on the same stage and share the same award with Venediktov.
