German journalists establish that the yacht used to attack Nord Stream belongs to Ukrainians

Journalists from ARD, Kontraste, SWR, and Zeit established that the ship from which the attack on the Nord Stream gas pipelines was carried out was rented from a Polish company and owned by two Ukrainians.

Zeit writes about it.

However, so far, German investigators have not been able to establish who is behind the attack. They believe that the operation was carried out by a team of six people using forged documents.

"The group consisted of a captain, two divers, two diving assistants, and a doctor, who allegedly transported the explosives to the crime scene and planted them there," the newspaper writes.

Mykhailo Podoliak, Advisor to the Head of the President's Office, said that Ukraine was not involved in this attack.

The US and Germany have called for an official investigation to be completed before blaming either side for the attack.
