Foreigners will be able to become e-residents of Ukraine
On October 6, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the draft law on e-residency. According to it, foreigners will be able to obtain e-residency status and open their business in Ukraine online, without physical presence in the country.
To do this, foreign citizens must apply online for e-residency status and undergo verification in accordance with the current legislation. Then it is necessary to pass identification at the consular office, to obtain a RNOKPP and an electronic signature. The last step is to open a bank account and register a sole proprietorship.
The team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation has started developing a web version and a mobile application using cloud-based digital signature technologies for e-residents.
