During the full-scale invasion, law enforcement officers have recorded more than 47,000 war crimes committed by Russians — Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Kateryna Pavlichenko, stated this during the "UA: Human Rights in Dark Times" conference.

"This is the killing and torture of the civilian population, the shooting at the green corridors, the deportation of children, crimes against journalists, the destruction of civilian infrastructure, as well as sexual violence against civilians," Pavlichenko emphasized.

Most of these crimes were recorded in the Kharkiv, Kyiv, Kherson, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions. In particular, in those settlements that were under temporary Russian occupation.

Kateryna Pavlichenko also added that all criminal proceedings on the facts of war crimes initiated by the investigators of the National Police are currently at the investigation stage and in the future some of them will be referred to the Special International Tribunal.
