Due to the massive Russian shelling on December 16, a state of emergency was declared in the electricity infrastructure of Ukraine

As a result of the missile attacks, consumption fell by 50%.

The northern, southern, and central regions of Ukraine were the most affected. The main targets of the shelling were power generation facilities and backbone networks.

As of evening, the state of emergency was lifted.
