Donald Trump plans to turn himself in on August 24 over allegations of election meddling in Georgia

The former US president plans to voluntarily surrender to the authorities on August 24.

He wrote about this on his Truth Social page.

"I’ll be going to Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday to be ARRESTED by radical left-wing District Attorney Fani Willis," Trump wrote.

The day before, the court approved bail for the former president in the amount of $200,000.

In addition, Trump was banned from intimidating the defendants in the case and any witnesses through his social media.

This is stated in the ruling of Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee, CNN reports.

Donald Trump and his associates in the White House are accused of attempting to influence the outcome of the 2020 elections in Georgia.

It will be recalled that Donald Trump is facing the fourth set of charges.
