British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announces the transfer of long-range attack drones and air defence missiles to Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak announced this during a briefing.

During the meeting, Zelenskyy and Sunak also discussed the creation of an aviation coalition to support Ukraine.

"We are very keen to build that coalition of countries to give Volodymyr [Zelenskyy] and his people the aircraft support they need," Sunak said.

According to the Prime Minister, the UK will start training Ukrainian pilots "relatively soon."

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also commented on his meetings with Giorgia Meloni, Olaf Scholz, and Emmanuel Macron the day before. 

"I am very pleased with our achievements and agreements. Powerful defence packages — these are the agreements," Zelenskyy added.
