British Intelligence: Russians have strengthened defences around the temporarily occupied Tokmak in Zaporizhzhia region

Russia is likely to strengthen its defences around the temporarily occupied Tokmak in Zaporizhzhia region.

This was reported by the press service of the UK Ministry of Defence.

According to British intelligence, Tokmak could become the basis of Russia's second line of defence. 

"Improvements to the town's defences likely indicates Russia’s growing concern about Ukrainian tactical penetrations of the first main defensive line to the north," the intelligence report says.

The Russian army is deploying additional checkpoints and fortifications, as well as digging new trenches.
