Belgorod Region Governor Gladkov agrees to meet with representatives of the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Freedom of Russia Legion

Vyacheslav Gladkov has declared his readiness to meet with Russian volunteers in the Russian-Ukrainian border area. 

He posted such a video statement on his Telegram channel. 

Earlier, on June 4, the FRL and RVC announced fighting near the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Belgorod region. Later, the Russian volunteer corps claimed that their advanced units were in the suburb of Shebekino. Apparently, they managed to capture two Russian soldiers during the hostilities. They offered the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, to meet them in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka and exchange the POWs for the opportunity to talk.

Gladkov agreed, but he wants to move the meeting place from the church in Novaya Tavolzhanka to the Shebekino road border crossing point.
