Activities of Russia and Belarus indicate systematic preparation for escalation - General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff Oleksii Hromov at a briefing

The combat readiness of military units is being checked in Hrodna, Brest and Gomel regions of Belarus under the guise of training. 

Currently, there are no signs that Belarus is preparing an offensive group. 

For its part, Ukraine is monitoring the situation and has reinforced its troops in the northern direction.
