A rocket hit district police department in Kryvyi Rih. Rescue operations underway
The Russians shelled Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol, as well as the Marhanets, Myrove and Pokrovsk communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region, south-central Ukraine. An industrial facility and infrastructure were damaged, and a fire broke out. In Kryvyi Rih, a rocket hit the district police department. So far, five victims have been identified, and the search for civilians under the rubble continues.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, partially occupied in the south since 2022, Russia shelled Prymorske, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Temyrivka and Levadne. Ninety-nine residential buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged. A total of 362 strikes were recorded in the region over the past 24 hours. The regional military administration reports no casualties.
In the Mykolaiv region, south of Ukraine, the Russians shelled the Kutsurub community and the Bashtanka district. A car caught fire due to one of the attacks. The regional military administration reports no casualties.
In the Odesa region, south of Ukraine, Russia attacked Izmail. Private and apartment blocks, outbuildings, buildings, and cars were damaged. Several fires broke out. Three civilians died and 11 more suffered injuries, including a child.
In the Luhansk region, almost completely occupied by Russia, the Russians assaulted Balka Zhuravka, Makiivka, Nadiia and Raihorodka. The Russian army used multiple launch rocket systems, drones, artillery and aircraft to carry out the attacks.
In the Sumy region, bordering Russia to the north, Russia struck the communities of Sumy, Mykolaiv, Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Myropillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Shalyhyne, Putivl, Nova Sloboda, Hlukhiv, Druzhba, Svesa, Seredyna-Buda, and Esman. Sixteen private houses, a municipal building, an infrastructure facility, an electric transformer, a water tower, and power lines were damaged. Dry vegetation caught fire. Four civilians received injuries.
In the Kherson region, south of Ukraine, partially occupied since 2022, the Russian army shelled Kherson, Stanislav, Odradokamianka, Tiahynka, Vesele, Kozatske, Tomyna Balka, Kostyrka, Veletenske, Novodmytrivka, Novooleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Sofiivka, Zmiivka, Novoraisk, Beryslav, Antonivka, Novovorontsovka, Bilozerka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Novotiahynka, Arkhanhelske, Burhunka, and Inhulets. Critical infrastructure facilities, an educational institution, three multi-storey buildings, 28 private houses, outbuildings, a lock-up, agricultural machinery, an ambulance and private cars were damaged.
Two civilians died and 25 more sustained injuries, including two children aged 4 and 15.
In the Kharkiv region, bordering Russia in the east of Ukraine, Russia attacked Kharkiv, Bezruky, Prudianka, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Kivsharivka, Vovchansk, Ivashky, and the Malodanylivka community, damaging four houses, a car, a school and a fence. Eight civilians sustained injuries. Three houses, a cafe, four kiosks, garages and a forest floor caught fire.
In the Chernihiv region, bordering Belarus and Russia to the north, the Russians shelled Buchky, Leonivka and Halahanivka.
In the Donetsk region, located on the frontline in the east of Ukraine and partially occupied since 2014, the Russian army shelled Bilytske, Kostiantynivka, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Selidove, Siversk, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Kurakhivka, Raihorodok, Bohoiavlivka, Viroliubivka, Nove, Novoekonomichne, Novoukrainka, Ozerne, and Tarasivka.
Four civilians died and 11 were injured. A total of 129 civilian objects were damaged, including 110 residential buildings. A total of 3,038 attacks were recorded over the day.
