A boy of Palestinian origin killed in the United States. Police consider it hate crime
A six-year-old Palestinian-American boy was killed in the US state of Illinois. He was stabbed with a knife. The police consider it a hate crime.

Unknown persons attacked a house where a six-year-old boy and his mother were staying. The boy was stabbed 26 times and his mother was stabbed more than 12 times, and is in serious condition. The incident took place in the town of Plainfield, near Chicago, on October 14.
Police are considering the possibility that the attack was motivated by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as Muslims were targeted.
The murder suspect has already been detained. He is 71 years old and is known to have used a military-style knife. He has been formally charged.
