"We will definitely be back!" — Zelenskyy opened the Second Crimean Platform Summit
In 2021, representatives of 46 countries and organizations attended the meeting of the Crimean Platform. In 2022, the number has grown to almost 60.
The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, came to Kyiv and personally attended the summit.
In autumn 2022, the Crimean Platform will continue in Croatia, where parliamentary delegations from around the world will be present.
"Many people remained silent and tried not to notice what was happening in Crimea. And in my opinion, this became one of the main reasons for everything that is happening now in Ukraine and in the world," Zelenskyy said.
"Ukraine's restoration of control over the Crimean peninsula will be a historic anti-war step in Europe," the President of Ukraine said.
Since February 24, more than 750 rockets have been launched from the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea on Ukrainian cities and communities.
