15 militants of illegal armed groups "L/DPR", who looted grain elevators in Kherson region, were sentenced to fifteen years in prison

After February 24, the men, who lived in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, voluntarily joined the Russian army. They participated in hostilities and carried out instructions to loot local elevators and illegally export Ukrainian grain to Russia.

The militants were captured by Ukrainian servicemen during the counter-offensive on the southern and eastern fronts.

According to the Security Service of Ukraine materials, the court found them guilty of high treason and collaboration and sentenced them to fifteen years of imprisonment.
