The destruction of Russian planes in Crimea is probably the largest single-day loss of Russian military aircraft since World War II — CNN

The command of the air forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the destruction of 9 Russian planes in the city of Saky in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The Russians had Su-30SM, Su-24, and Il-76 aircraft at the airfield.
