The USA discovered 18 infiltration camps for Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and Russia
According to the Deputy Head of the US Mission to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, Russian officials were preparing to filter Ukrainians even before February 24.
The Russians created lists of Ukrainian civilians in advance for "filtering", which included "people who threaten the Russian Federation's control over Ukraine", "persons with pro-Ukrainian views", political figures, activists and the Security Service of Ukraine employees.
According to The New York Times, after interrogations, beatings, torture and disappearances of people in infiltration camps, Ukrainians are often sent to poor regions of the Russian Federation near China or Japan.
