On April 5, Volodymyr and Olena Zelenskyy arrived in Warsaw on a working visit


The President and First Lady of Ukraine met with the President and First Lady of Poland, Andrzej Duda and Agata Kornhauser-Duda.

Duda presented Zelenskyy with Poland's highest award, the Order of the White Eagle.

"President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was awarded in recognition of his merits in deepening relations between Poland and Ukraine, security activities and steadfastness in protecting human rights," the statement from Andrzej Duda's Office reads.

Together with Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, the President of Ukraine signed a protocol on cooperation in the supply of defence equipment, particularly Rosomak wheeled armoured personnel carriers.

Poland also allocated a new defence aid package to Ukraine.

During his evening speech, Duda assured of his support for Ukraine, and Zelenskyy thanked him for it and expressed hope that Poland would become a leader in the aviation coalition.

Olena Zelenska and Agata Kornhauser-Duda visited the Caritas Poland Centre for migrants and internally displaced persons in Warsaw.
