On the night of February 7, Russians attacked the Nikopol district twice with heavy artillery and MLRS. About 40 shells hit the Marhanets community.

The shelling damaged power lines, causing one of the community's pumping stations to lose power. As a result, nine settlements were left without a water supply. About 60 thousand users live there.

In addition, the Russians damaged four private houses, an outbuilding, power grids, and a gas pipeline. No one was killed or injured.
