Russians are trying to involve convicted women in combat operations — Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff

Over the past week, about 50 people were recruited from the women's correctional colony in Snizhne, a temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region. They were sent to Russia for training.

The Russian army is regrouping in certain areas. However, it focuses on conducting offensive actions in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions. 

Russians fired nine times from multiple launch rocket systems over the last day.

Ukrainian aviation carried out three strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian personnel and military equipment over the day. 

Missile and artillery units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces hit a command post, two areas of human resources concentration, an anti-aircraft missile system and a fuel and lubricant depot.
